From April 13 to 16, 2026, the Hong Kong International Innovation & Technology Expo (InnoEX) was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre under the theme “Innovate, Automate, Elevate.” As a flagship event of Hong Kong’s International Innovation and Technology Business Week, the expo gathered cutting-edge innovations from around the world, with embodied AI robotics emerging as one of the most closely watched sectors.
Among the standout exhibitors was Wintec Dynamics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., selected as one of four featured robotics companies from Guangdong Province. The company presented two flagship technologies: the ultra-high-precision flexible robot “Sprity” and its heavy-duty cycloidal module platform. With full-stack in-house R&D and manufacturing capabilities, Wintec directly addressed three long-standing industry challenges – insufficient payload, joint overheating, and limited precision – highlighting China’s growing strength in robotics technologies.
Wintec Dynamics has built deep expertise in the R&D and manufacturing of integrated rotary modules for embodied AI robots. Guided by its philosophy of “Targeted Innovation, Practical Solutions,” the company has established a fully self-developed industrial chain, forming two core product lines: heavy-load modules and ultra-high-precision modules, which are solutions designed to meet real industrial demands and provide critical infrastructure for the next generation of intelligent robots.
From “Hercules” to “Sprity”: A New Leap Forward At last year’s InnoEX, Wintec made its debut with the powerful “Hercules” robot platform. Its live demonstration, lifting 15 kilograms with a single arm, drew significant international attention. Powered by Wintec’s cycloidal pinwheel module, Hercules directly addressed a key industry challenge: joint overheating and insufficient torque. The technology resolved long-standing issues of instability and limited load capacity in conventional robotic joints, significantly strengthening market confidence and attracting widespread media coverage.
Later that year, Hercules was recognized by Guangdong Province as one of its top robotics enterprises and went on to be showcased at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), highlighting precision robotics for the 3C manufacturing era.
This year, as humanoid robotics moves rapidly toward commercialization, Wintec returned with a new breakthrough. Its ultra-high-precision robot “Sprity” performed an elegant dance routine before flawlessly completing the assembly of an M2.5 micro screw, a task requiring micron-level accuracy.
Equipped with Wintec’s advanced micro harmonic module technology, the robot achieves exceptional positioning accuracy of ±0.005°, addressing a critical industry restriction: insufficient precision in 3C manufacturing applications. This breakthrough fills a key gap in precision assembly, micro-component inspection, and other high-value production scenarios across the 3C sector (computers, communications, and consumer electronics), offering manufacturers a next-generation solution for high-precision production.
Meeting the Urgent Need for Smarter Manufacturing
Today’s 3C manufacturing industry faces increasing pressure from rapid product cycles, shortening product lifespans, and growing demand for small-batch, multi-variant production. Traditional manufacturing systems are increasingly constrained by limitations in flexibility, precision, and cost efficiency. As a result, demand for intelligent, adaptive, and highly precise automation has never been greater. This is where Wintec’s Sprity platform is positioned to lead; by introducing lightweight, high-precision robots into production lines, manufacturers can finally automate the “last 10 meters” of delicate operations, hence unlocking major gains in productivity and quality.
Building the Future of Embodied Robotics
With nearly three decades of technical expertise and continuous innovation, Wintec Dynamics has become a leading force in core components for embodied AI robotics. Its latest exhibition lineup reflects a highly complementary product strategy: Sprity – designed for precision tasks such as assembly, inspection, and material handling in 3C production lines. Hercules – engineered for high-load industrial applications requiring strength and stability. Together, these two module systems enable embodied AI robots to support payload scenarios of up to 50 kilograms, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of digital smart factories. More importantly, this breakthrough provides manufacturers with a practical pathway toward flexible and intelligent transformation, helping overcome vital setbacks and accelerating the industry’s shift from concept to real-world productivity and high-quality growth.
